ArmInfo. The Cypriot Parliament unanimously adopted a resolution condemning Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh and Armenia.
According to the ARF press service, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party Cyprus Committee and Armenian National Committee of Cyprus, taking into account the blockade of the Berdzor (Lachin) corridor and the ongoing provocations of the Azerbaijani side against Armenia, interacting with state representatives of the Armenian community of Cyprus, as well as with the Circle of Friendship with Artsakh, submitted a resolution condemning Azerbaijan for discussion in the Cypriot parliament.
"The presented resolution was discussed at the plenary session of the parliament on April 6 and adopted unanimously. Along with condemning Azerbaijan, the resolution calls on the Baku authorities to immediately open the corridor," the ARF said in a statement.
The Armenian National Committee of Cyprus thanks the parliamentary parties of Cyprus and confirms its commitment to continue working to protect the international interests of Armenia and Artsakh. The Committee is convinced that it will be possible to overcome the Turkish-Azerbaijani expansionist ambitions and geopolitical challenges by uniting national efforts and enlisting the support of various circles of the international community.
The only land road connecting Artsakh with the outside world has been blocked by Azerbaijanis since December 12, 2022. Azerbaijanis are terrorizing the 120,000 population of Artsakh against the backdrop of the inaction of the international community.
