ArmInfo.The lie of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan regarding the beating of the son of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Ashot Pashinyan, has become  fertile ground for speculation in the international media.

 It should be reminded that after the speaker of the Armenian parliament on  April 2 disgraced himself by spitting in the face of a citizen who  shouted "traitor" after him, he found himself in the center of  another curiosity. In fact, today, a newspaper owned by the premier's  family caught him lying.

So, yesterday, after a big scandal with spitting and detaining a  citizen who dared to call Simonyan a traitor, and apparently in an  attempt to somehow divert public attention from his personality,  Simonyan wrote on his Facebook page that the son of the Prime  Minister of Armenia Ashot Pashinyan was attacked.

"Three days ago,  Chairman of the Standing Committee on State and  Legal Affairs of the National Assembly, Vladimir Vardanyan, was  attacked by a MP representing the ARF- Dashnaktsutyun party and hit  him, after which, Vardanyan, like a hare, fled to his faction.  In  the center of Yerevan, some " Dashnak " phenomenon carried out  provocations against the Speaker of the National Assembly from a  distance of about 100 meters, yesterday the Prime Minister's son was  also attacked.

This is a series of organized provocations, the traces of which, I am  sure, lead beyond the borders of our country. The legal and political  response to this will not be long in coming. Armenia will remain and  develop democracy, there will be peace in our region," Simonyan  wrote.

It is interesting that after Simonyan's statement, the RA police said  that they had not received any message and had no facts regarding the  attack on the prime minister's son.

And already today, "Haykakan Zhamanak" newspaper, which belongs to  the family of the RA Prime Minister, has come out with a refutation  of these words of Simonyan. In particular, the Prime Minister's son  Ashot Pashinyan stated that there were no politically motivated or  other attacks against him. 

"Unfortunately, I have to refute the false information spread about  me. As for the spread of" information ", I think the most surprising  thing is who is quoting whom. And why, I'm not even interested. My  best wishes to everyone," said the son RA Prime Minister Ashot  Pashinyan.

It is noteworthy that Simonyan's statement became fertile ground for  various manipulations. For example, there were headlines in the  international media such as. " The son of the Prime Minister of  Armenia was attacked after statements about the arrest of Putin."
