ArmInfo. We will continue the peace process and not succumb to provocations. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, answering a question about the reaction of the world community and the country's leadership to Baku's provocative actions in the Lachin Corridor and Ilham Aliyev's no less provocative statements about possible aggression in Syunik (the so-called Zangezur Corridor).
Pashinyan expressed the idea that due to such provocations, the international community is beginning to understand the essence of what is happening and that such a line of behavior by Baku directly contradicts and is a direct violation of the obligations assumed by Azerbaijan in the peace process, including contradicting the Prague agreements. The purpose of this behavior of Baku, according to Pashinyan, is, of course, the desire to escalate the situation in the region, which hinders direct work on reaching a peace agreement.
In this regard, Pashinyan noted that the reaction to all this from Armenia should be asymmetrical, that is, Armenia will continue to strengthen its state institutions, carry out reforms and not abandon the peace agenda.
