ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Charles Fries, Deputy Secretary General for Common Security, Defense Policy and Crisis Response of the European External Action Service.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of Fries' visit to Yerevan and stressed the positive dynamics of Armenia-EU cooperation. In particular, Pashinyan highlighted the support provided by the EU in the effective implementation of the democratic reform agenda in our country.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the relations between Armenia and the European Union, as well as the activities of the EU Monitoring Capacity to Armenia on the border with Azerbaijan. The Prime Minister emphasized the role of the EU mission in ensuring security and stabilizing the situation.
The situation in the Lachin corridor, the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and other issues were also touched upon.
