ArmInfo. The statements about the dissolution of the format of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are unfounded. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on April 22 at a government meeting.
Touching upon the important results of his official visit to Moscow, Pashinyan noted that during the meeting with President Putin, the importance of the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, "with all the ensuing political consequences," was emphasized. "And if we record that in the days preceding the visit to Moscow, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs from Russia, France and the United States visited Armenia, then we can say that the assessments about the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group are unfounded," the prime minister said.
According to him, all co-chair countries remain true to their mandate on the Karabakh settlement, despite the fact that the events in Ukraine created difficulties for their joint activities. "But the fact that even in these conditions the co-chairs continue to act, make visits to the region, and confirm their commitment to promote the settlement of the Karabakh conflict at the political level, gives grounds for tangible optimism," he said.
