ArmInfo. State Minister of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan has posted the following message on his Telegram account:
"What does Great Britain have in common with Azerbaijan's latest aggression against Artsakh and with Russia's security guarantees?
"In these days, when Azerbaijan is occupying a settlement and a strategic height of in Artsakh, the British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces, is visiting Baku, and the Karabakh conflict is being discussed with the Azerbaijani ambassador in London.
"We witnessed overt British support to Azerbaijan during the 2020 Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression. And even now, during the occupation of Parukh and Karaglukh, Great Britain is not concealing its strategic support, and we can only guess about the amount and type of real support being provided behind the curtain.
"It is being done to strengthen the Azerbaijani-Turkish alliance's positions in the region to deliver a blow to Russia's vital interests, which results in the Artsakh people's right to life and security being violated.
"As regards the West-vaunted human rights and democracy, they are not at all important in such foul geopolitical games," Mr Beglaryan's message reads.
Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces James Heappey visited Baku. The issues of deepening the defense cooperation with Azerbaijan and the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict topped the agenda.
