ArmInfo. As of December 19, residents of the capital are most willing to get vaccinated in Armenia, where the percentage of vaccinated citizens was almost 44%, which is the highest indicator in the country. This is stated on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Health.
Following Yerevan, a high percentage of vaccinated citizens is registered in Ararat region (43.2%), followed by Vayots Dzor (42.9%). In the Kotayk region, 39.9% of the population were vaccinated, in Armavir - 37.9%, in Aragatsotn - 37.8%.
Residents of Gegharkunik, Shirak and Lori are less willing to get vaccinated, where the percentage of vaccinated persons, respectively, was 36.6%, 36.5% and 36.2%. 34% of citizens were vaccinated in Syunik region, and the smallest share falls on the residents of Tavush, where only 31.6% of the population received vaccinations.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, 1,546,632 people were vaccinated in Armenia, of which 903,661 people received the first component, and, accordingly, 642 971 people received the second component.
