ArmInfo.The political parties of Armenia publish proportional lists of candidates for deputies for the upcoming June 20 special elections and submit them to the Central Election Commission.
So, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's "Civil Contract" party has published the 30 names of its candidates. Thus, the proportional list of candidates for MPs from the party was headed by acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, followed by Speaker of the Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan and the head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling "My Step" bloc Lilit Makunts.
The top ten list of the Civil Contract party also includes Acting Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia Suren Papikyan, businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan, Deputy Speakers of the Armenian Parliament Lena Nazaryan and Alen Simonyan, Acting Minister of the Environment Romanos Petrosyan, MP of the <My Step> Arpi Davoyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arsen Torosyan.
They are also among the 30 candidates: Arayik Harutyunyan, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Ruben Rubinyan, Gurgen Arsenyan, Anahit Avanesyan, Gurgen Melkonyan, Hakob Arshakyan, Heriknaz Tigranyan, Hayk Konjoryan, Armen Pambukhchyan, Arusyak Julakyan, Eduard Aghajanyan , Andranik Kocharyan, Maria Karapetyan, Babken Tunyan, Shirak Torosyan, Tsovinar Vardanyan, Vahagn Hovakimyan, Gevorg Papoyan, Hripsime Grigoryan.
"Armenia" bloc
The list of the "Armenia" bloc, which includes the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" and "Reviving Armenia" parties, was headed by second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian, followed by representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Supreme Body Ishkhan Saghatelyan, followed by the independent MP of the Armenian parliament Anna Grigoryan. In fourth place in the top ten is ex-governor of the Syunik region of Armenia Vahe Hakobyan, followed by former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan, member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Lilit Galstyan, member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Armen Rustamyan, ex-Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, former MP Elinar Vardanyan, member ARF Dashnaktsutyun Artsvik Minasyan.
The top 20 also includes head of the <United Armenia> party Artur Ghazinyan, Christine Vardanyan, ARF member Gagam Manukyan, ARF member Aghvan Vardanyan, journalist Agnessa Khamoyan, Andranik Tovmasyan, Mkhitar Zakaryan, Hripsime Stambultsyan, Ashot Charoyan, Armen Charchyan.
Representative of the bloc's headquarters Aram Vardevanyan told reporters at the CEC that there are 153 candidates on the list. According to him, a competitive team has been assembled, which includes patriots and professionals.
Prosperous Armenia Party
The proportional list of candidates for MPs from the Prosperous Armenia Party was headed by chairman of the party, head of its parliamentary faction Gagik Tsarukyan, MPs of the faction of the party Mikael Melkumyan and Iveta Tonoyan.
The top ten list of the Prosperous Armenia party also includes David Simonyan, ex-member of the Armenian parliament Karapet Guloyan, MPs Shake Isayan and Kajik Gevorgyan, secretary of the parliamentary faction of the party Arman Abovyan, former MPs Luiza Sargsyan and Hrant Davtyan.
The top 20 also includes: Suren Okminyan, Nora Arustamyan, Tigran Stepanyan, Artem Tsarukyan, Mayranush Nasibyan, Hrant Madatyan, Arsen Harutyunyan, Hasmik Virabyan, David Davtyan and Karlen Minasyan.
PAP faction secretary Arman Abovyan told reporters that there are more than 90 candidates on the list.
"Republic" Party
The proportional list of candidates for MPs from the "Republic" party was headed by the chairman of the party Aram Sargsyan, as well as the former Minister of Justice of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan. Member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Ani Khachatryan told the RA CEC about this, adding that she took the third line in the list. According to her, there are 103 candidates on the list. "There are no big businessmen on the list. There is a force or forces, a coalition with which is excluded. These include those who considered the October 27 incident (1999 - ed.) a murder committed by five romantics," Khachatryan said.
Top 20 also included: Romik Mkhitaryan, Borik Nazaryan, Anahit Adamyan, Manvel Ghazaryan, Albert Hovasapyan, Haykanush Khshchyan, Tavros Sapeyan, Robert Manukyan, Christine Saroyan, Hovik Arsenyan, Masis Melkonyan, Elena Asriyan, Samvel Adamyan, Aram Geghamyan, Susanna Gyuojanyan, Arsen Makvezyan, Suren Ghukasyan.
"Fair Armenia"
The proportional list of candidates for MPs from the "Fair Armenia" party was headed by Norayr Norikyan.
Party spokesman David Karapetyan told reporters that there are 85 candidates on the list, it will include famous personalities. "Nothing is ruled out in politics, but until this moment we have not formed blocs with any political force. We will participate independently," he added.
Let us remind that the deadline for submitting the relevant documents to the CEC of Armenia expired today, May 26 at 6.00 pm.
