Thus, according to secretary of the PAP parliamentary faction Arman Abovyan, the list will traditionally be headed by Gagik Tsarukyan, followed by Mikayel Melkumyan and Iveta Tonoyan.

On May 10, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia was dissolved by force of law, after it did not elect a new prime minister for the second time. On the same day, RA President Armen Sarkissian signed a decree on holding elections in the country on June 20.
