ArmInfo. The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) reacted to the accusations of the President of Artsakh that the outcome of the second Artsakh war was clear in early October, but the authorities and the opposition did not reach a consensus.
Thus, the press secretary of the RPA, former Deputy Speaker of the parliament Eduard Sharmazanov, in particular wrote: "Capitulators, if at the beginning of October the outcome of the war was clear, why did you shout for 44 days -" we will win!". Was the reaction of the political authorities or the lives of our guys important to you?
Moreover, it was I who on October 12 suggested that the land owner turn to Putin (the President of the Russian Federation - ed.) and stop the war.
So that capitulation and 5,000 victims are on your conscience. The only culprits of the national tragedy are you, led by the main capitulator."
It should be noted that today, during a meeting with the employees of the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction Companies of Artsakh, President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan, presenting the course of the 44-day war, noted that the consequences of the war were clear to him in early October, but the political forces of Armenia did not come to a common denominator.
"There was no political consensus or consensus between the opposition, pro-government forces, and the government, and stopping the war in those days was considered a betrayal," the President of Artsakh said. He also assured that after the ceasefire of May 12, 1994, " our military and political leadership did not learn the right lessons from world examples and, having an advantage in the negotiation process, could not find more favorable solutions."
