ArmInfo.. The planned early parliamentary elections, in my opinion, will not lead to the  resolution of the internal political crisis in Armenia. The head of  the Center for Human Development, Tevan Poghosyan, expressed a  similar opinion to ArmInfo.

"I think that in this light, the National Assembly formed as a result  of these elections will have a very short life. The need to resolve  the socio-economic problems of the country, the moral and  psychological problems of the Armenian society dictates the immediate  formation of an anti-crisis government, and not the holding of early  elections. The latter can be carried out only after the introduction  of all the above-mentioned negative processes into a controlled  channel. Otherwise, Armenia will constantly spin in the same negative  cycle, " he stressed.

Poghosyan is convinced that it is impossible to continue governing  Armenia by people who see Artsakh as a burden that must be removed as  soon as possible, which, in his opinion, they continue to try to do  today. At the same time, the enemies of Armenia, Azerbaijan and  Turkey, in his opinion, need not only Artsakh but also the whole of  Armenia. The same grand opening of the Baku "War Trophy Park", the  statements of Aliyev full of pretensions and expansionism, according  to the expert, speak of the desire to destroy the Armenian people  completely. And this, in turn, indicates the absence of any changes  in the Turkic policy towards the Armenian people from 1918 to the  present day.

Poghosyan considers the response to such statements and actions of  Baku with calls for peace from Yerevan to be part of the defeatist  agenda of the defeated and complete failure of the current  government. And against this background, according to his conviction,  this power thinks and acts no longer for the purpose of protecting  and promoting national interests, statehood, but for the purpose of  protecting its own life.

"Throughout our history, we, unfortunately, have seen similar  examples of the behavior of our government repeatedly. And we can see  how they ended for Armenia. So such irresponsible behavior of the  current government speaks about the lack of love for Armenia, pain  for Armenia. Lack of interest in protecting national Armenian  priorities. And the presence of an interest solely in personal  well-being. And the biggest danger is that these people are trying to  instill similar values in the entire Armenian society. Accordingly,  we must be aware of all this and act exclusively in accordance with  this awareness," Poghosyan concluded.
