ArmInfo. The court of general jurisdiction chaired by Mnatsakan Martirosyan ruled to arrest businessman David Galstyan.
To note, on February 1, the National Security Service reported that Galstyan was charged with supplying the Armenian Ministry of Defense with unusable ammunition.
Today David Galstyan made a statement, stressing that at this stage he will not disclose the details of the case about the shells and the circumstances connected with it, as they contain state secrets. However, according to him, these circumstances would reveal the real motives for initiating a criminal case against him.
Let us remind you that as the press service of the NSS reported earlier, businessman David Galstyan signed an agreement with the Armenian Defense Ministry, according to which he delivered artillery shells for guns of the 1983-1986 model. However, instead of this, the Defense Ministry was supplied with Czech-made shells produced in 1977. As a result, these ammunition was not suitable for the above guns, which made it impossible to use them.
The NSS also reported that other criminal cases were also initiated against Galstyan.
