ArmInfo. An opposition rally started on Freedom Square in Yerevan, at which demands are heard for the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Armenian government.
Opening the rally, the representative of the ARF party Gegham Manukyan noted that the country's law enforcement agencies, which follow the direct instructions of Nikol Pashinyan, are faced with a difficult task. On the one hand, they deal with the indignation, indignation and curses of the people against the current authorities, and on the other hand, there is an opportunity to receive bonuses. The speaker expressed doubt that these law enforcement officials would dare to wear their orders today. He recalled that on the day and hour of the rallies, the leaders of the opposition movement are summoned for interrogation. Today is no exception. The leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan has been summoned for questioning, and it is not yet known whether he will be in time to attend the rally or not. "It depends on the investigators," said Manukyan, urging the audience to observe the rules of anti-epidemiological safety. He stressed that during this period of time the authorities resorted to various provocations, information absurdities and lies. For this reason, he called on the rally participants to be attentive, not to succumb to provocations. The oppositionist proposed a slogan for today's rally - "Armenia without Nikola". This slogan was picked up by the audience, simultaneously chanting another slogan - "traitor".
