The 138-page book "The Armenian Revolution: An Unfinished Chain" is published on the website of the Polish Institute of International Relations /.
According to the annotation to the book, the author describes the mechanisms of the formation of the post-Soviet model of the state in Armenia and the process of the growth of social discontent. He tells in detail about the course of the revolutionary events through the eyes of Western diplomats in Yerevan. The study notes the success of the new political team in reforming the country, as well as the difficulties it faced, including due to the resistance of the old economic and political structures.
At the same time, the author analyzes the geopolitical context of the reform process in Armenia. He takes into account the factor of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh and its possible settlement. The paper examines the possible impact of events in Armenia on the development of the situation in other post-Soviet countries.
The final part contains proposals and recommendations regarding the European Union's policy and Poland's activities in the region, in particular with regard to Armenia.
