ArmInfo. The Republican Party of Armenia was supposed to draw conclusions after the "velvet revolution", and take a break. This was stated by the head of the  parliamentary faction "My Step" Lilit Makunts at a press conference  on December 26. As noted, studies conducted lately, indicating a low  RPA rating, confirm this opinion.

<After the political events in the spring of 2018, the Republican  Party of Armenia had to take a break to analyze and understand what  happened and why. After that, it could prepare for the parliamentary  elections, but not for the extraordinary, but for the next ones> she  stressed. 

It should be added that, according to the results of the earlier  MPG-Armenia study (a full member of the Gallup International  Association), answering the question of who they would vote for if  the parliamentary elections were held tomorrow, 61.7% of respondents  indicated <My step> , 14.7% - <Prosperous Armenia>, 3.9% - <Bright  Armenia>, 2.5% - ARF, 1.5% - Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).  According to indicators of the level of satisfaction with party  activities, 1.5% of respondents said they were completely satisfied  with the work of the RPA, and another 7.9% said they were more likely  satisfied. In the case of <My step>, these indicators were 31.4% and  47.9%, respectively, with <Prosperous Armenia> - 19.9% and 46.3%,  <Bright Armenia> -8.8% and 38.8%, ARF - 4.1% and 15%, respectively.  To recall, by the results of the extraordinary parliamentary  elections held in December 2018 <My Step> Alliance gained 70.43% of  the vote, <Prosperous Armenia> - 8.27%, <Bright Armenia> - 6.37%, RPA  - 4.70%, ARF - 3.89%.
