He also highlighted the "Modern Parliament for Modern Armenia" program, which is implemented jointly by Sweden and the United Kingdom. Ararat Mirzoyan also pointed out the importance of inter- parliamentary relations, emphasizing the importance of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the European Union, expressing the hope that relations between the two countries will be consistent with the provisions of this agreement, regardless of how developments in the UK regarding the EU develop . The NA President also emphasized the balanced position of Great Britain on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh, once again assuring that the Armenian authorities are committed to the process of peace negotiations and see the solution to the problem only in this way.
