ArmInfo. At the meeting with head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Piotr Switalski Chief of the Armenian police Valery Osipyan highly appreciated the cooperation between Yerevan and Brussels, and presented the details of the reforms taking place in his department.
As the press service of the RA Police told ArmInfo, the meeting discussed issues related to the implementation of the point-based penalty system and the newly created mobile patrol service by the Road Police.
Osipyan assured that work in this direction continues, aimed at creating high-quality and efficient units. Switalski welcomed the reforms carried out in the Police, and expressed our support. According to the European diplomat, in the last period positive changes were recorded in the RA Police, which in turn contributed to an increase in public confidence in law enforcement agencies.
