The second "Magnetic Nanohybrids for Cancer Treatment" program was presented in coordination with the Institute of Physical Research (IPR) of the NAS RA. The project aims to develop a safe and effective treatment for cancer, based on the selective decomposition of cancer cells by overheating (hyperthymia) in an alternating magnetic field through a magnetic nanodibrid material with specified properties synthesized in an IPR. The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) are involved in the project as partners.
