A spokeswoman said that the head of the foreign ministry said this in  an interview with Israeli media last October. However, she stressed  that the society will be informed about the development of events, as  well as about the visits.

Referring to the mention of the Armenian Genocide in the controversy  between Turkey and Israel, Anna Naghdalyan stressed that the Armenian  Genocide in the Ottoman Empire is an indisputable fact, its  recognition and condemnation, above all a moral issue. According to  her, the prevention and prevention of new genocides is a universal  priority. "And this question should be aloof from any political  processes or speculations. We have always stressed that there is no  need to look for subtexts where there are none," said the  representative of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

At the same time, she stressed that Armenia will continue to make  efforts to prevent new crimes against humanity together with  international partners. "I would also like to emphasize that  speculation on the Armenian Genocide by Turkey is not acceptable to  us. Recognition and condemnation of this crime is Ankara's moral  obligation," she concluded.

To recall, the verbal sparring between the Israeli Prime Minister and  the Turkish President has been going on for several months.  Politicians regularly exchange insults against each other, but so far  the statements have not concerned the family members of any of the  leaders.
