ArmInfo. On March 15, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin took part in the opening of the Russian language  class in high school N 198 in Yerevan. For the new study room a  modern universal interactive projector was purchased, which can be  used on any surface.

The school director A.Kh.Torosyan expressed gratitude to the Embassy  and the Russian Center for Science and Culture for providing  technological educational tools that, according to him, will be  actively used for both training sessions and webinars with Russian  partner schools.

In turn, Russian Ambassador to Armenia S.P. Kopirkin, congratulating  the school staff on the opening of the modern audience, noted that  this event can be considered a new expression of the historically  established close ties between our countries. The head of the  diplomatic mission expressed his conviction that the created center  of the Russian language would be a significant contribution to the  school's activities and would allow to conduct the learning process  at a new level, which today's dynamic world requires, and help the  school to gain a foothold as one of the leaders in Yerevan. S.P.  Kopirkin stressed the importance and importance of the study of the  Russian language by Armenian youth. According to him, this is not  only a tribute to history, but also a need due to a wide range of  ties between Russia and Armenia, the participation of countries in  integration processes. "Learning the Russian language will not only  expand professional perspectives, but will certainly contribute to  personal development." In conclusion, the Russian Ambassador in  Armenia wished the created center of the Russian language the  brightest prospects and successful development as a platform for the  fruitful activities of the Russianists not only in the region, but  also in the capital.
