ArmInfo. The capital of Armenia, Yerevan, occupied the 170th place in the ranking of the "Mercer" international consulting company the best cities for life.
As noted on the company's website, in determining the quality of life, priority was given to the quality of the social environment, cultural life, level of political stability, education, transport accessibility, attractiveness for business.
To note, from the CIS countries Yerevan yielded only to the Russian capital - Moscow, which is located on the 167th place. For example, Kazakhstan's Almaty turned out to be on the 177th, Georgian Tbilisi - on the 187th, Belarusian Minsk - on the 188th, Azerbaijani Baku - on the 195th place.
Austrian Vienna took the first place for the tenth time in a row, Swiss Zurich took the second place in the ranking, the third were immediately three cities - Canadian Vancouver, German Munich and New Zealand Auckland. The top ten also included the German Dusseldorf and Frankfurt, the Danish Copenhagen, as well as the Swiss Geneva and Basel.
In total, the list includes 231 cities.
