ArmInfo. On February 25, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Artsakh counterpart, Masis Mayilian in Yerevan. According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, the interlocutors highly appreciated regular bilateral meetings and stressed their readiness to intensify consultations between foreign ministries in various fields.
In the light of the 31st anniversary of the Karabakh movement, the interlocutors touched on its origins, stressing that it was aimed at protecting the fundamental rights of the Artsakh people and their human rights, their right to live freely in their homeland.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan presented the details of the meeting of the Prime Minister of Armenia with the President of Azerbaijan and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in Davos, the meeting of the Armenian Foreign Minister in Paris with his Azerbaijani counterpart, as well as meetings with the Co-Chairs as part of their recent visit to Yerevan.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
