ArmInfo. The development of the military-industrial complex is a priority for the government of Armenia. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the meeting of the military-industrial commission. In this context, he stressed the need to implement structural changes and find ways to maximize funding for the sector.According to him, for the development of the military-industrial complex, it is necessary to form a well-functioning mechanism that coordinates investment, scientific potential and a system of government.

"It is in this context that the creation of a new Ministry of High Technologies and Industry should be considered. Of course, this is an important but not sufficient condition for the development of the sphere, "the prime minister stressed, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with the scientific sector. According to him, the geopolitical, military-political situation in the region makes it impossible to live according to the logic "just to live". <We need to think about the development of our resources. We have to go for unpopular, strong-willed decisions to be sure that there are no inactive links in the state administration system, "the prime minister concluded. 

 

WB, the Bank assists the RA government in the implementation of the planned programs.The group, led by WB Macroeconomic Director Sandip Mahajani, inquired about the activities undertaken by the RA government towards improving the investment environment.
