ArmInfo. The "Bright Armenia" party will vote against the submitted program of the government of the country. On February 14, leader of the faction Edmon Marukyan announced this at the parliament meeting.
According to him, before presenting the program, the executive body had to take care of the structure of the government. Until now, according to the MP, it is not clear who and which department will implement the program. In addition, Edmon Marukyan said, the Prime Minister's personnel policy leaves much to be desired, since the people who are called upon to implement the draft document will not only cast a shadow on the image of the head of the cabinet, but also fail the program. "It is impossible for Serzh Sargsyan's supporting players to take the first roles," the MP said.
In turn, MP from the Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan stressed that every time reminding about the high level of legitimacy of the current authorities, it's all the same, it will not solve the problems facing the country. And it is unlikely that within the next three years the "proud citizen" will wait for positive changes. The highest legitimacy can change dramatically, and move into a phase of apathy and disappointment. The presented program will not solve social and economic goals. "I'm afraid, yes, I'm afraid that society will gradually begin to lose faith in its future, for which he went out into the street in April-May this year and expressed his opinion during early parliamentary elections," Naira Zohrabyan said. She added that the faction submitted a package of proposals, and it depends on whether they are accepted or not, how the faction will vote. But in any case, the MP continued, the party will remain a supporter of the ruling party in the name of the economic revolution. "It will work out or not, time will tell," Naira Zohrabyan said.
Head of the ruling "My Step" faction Lilit Makunts noted that the program of the government is a guiding document, and for this reason, is revolutionary. She urged her colleagues not only to record the results of the work done, but also to take the most active part in them. The government of the country, together with the parliament, has great potential for the implementation of revolutionary reforms in the next five years. And from this point of view, the presented document obliges both the government and the parliament, as well as the judicial system, within the framework of their authority, to carry out large-scale reforms. Government activity cannot be effective if there is no corresponding work from other branches of government. Ultimately, continued Lilit Makunts, the ultimate beneficiary of the program is a citizen of the country. She urged to vote in favor of the submitted document, and to work together on its implementation.
