ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting with Cyprus Defense Minister Savvas Angelides noted the importance of active interaction between the defense departments of the two countries.
According to the press service of the office of the head of the RA government, Pashinyan stated that Armenia is interested in developing cooperation with Cyprus in various fields. He stressed the importance of implementing joint programs by the defense departments of Armenia and Cyprus.
Sawas Angelides thanked for the warm welcome and noted that Cyprus attaches importance to the development of cooperation with Armenia.The interlocutors discussed the prospects for the implementation of joint programs in the military industry, in particular, with the use of new technologies. The parties also touched upon regional and international security issues. Nikol Pashinyan thanked the Republic of Cyprus for the shown position on the Armenian Genocide and the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
