ArmInfo.The primary goal of the  Armenian delegation in Euronest is to lobby the interests of the  republic on this important international platform. The head of the  Armenian delegation in the Euronest Mkhitar Hayrapetyan said this at  a press conference on February 5."After the session, our European  colleagues asked me how I felt about the statement that people should  be prepared for peace. 

To which I noted that the people of Armenia are ready for peace, and  such questions should be addressed to the representatives of the  delegation from Azerbaijan. I am there raised the question that at  the state level in Azerbaijani schools they preach armenophobia.

 And representatives of such a country can hardly be ready for peace,  "said Hayrapetyan.According to him, Armenia should take an active  position at Euronest. "I want to emphasize that it is a matter of  confronting the destructive policy of Azerbaijan through specific  programs and actions," said Hayrapetyan.He also noted that the  members of the delegation met with the chairman of the "Aidat"  committee Gaspar Karapetyan. 

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of high priority for  Armenia that should be raised at international platforms. "We also  discussed the CEPA Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.  We discussed its possible assistance to Aydat on its ratification,"  said Hayrapetyan.The deputy also noted that prior to participating in  the Euronest meeting, he met with the former head of the National  Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Armen Ashotyan, who told  him about the work of the Armenian delegation in the organization,  about the main challenges, warned about possible anti-Armenian  resolutions that could be adopted the autumn plenary meeting in 2019,  as well as steps to be taken to prevent such a development.
