ArmInfo. The time has come to start negotiations between Armenia and the European Union on the liberalization of the visa regime. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a press conference in Berlin during his official visit to Germany, recalling that in 2018 for the first time in the recent history of Armenia, the number of people entering the country exceeded the number of people leaving.
Pashinyan also stressed that after the revolution, relations between Armenia and the EU intensified, in particular, the European Union expressed readiness to increase financial assistance to the RA. At the same time, Pashinyan stressed that the Armenian government is ready to continue the initiated reforms without external assistance. "The ball is in our field, we are fully ready to continue the reforms begun, while hoping for the assistance of our partners, who do not refuse us. But it's especially good that external partners, while assisting, do not impose a geopolitical choice on us, which creates the basis for active interaction in all directions, "Pashinyan stressed.
