ArmInfo.On January 31, Armenian Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus Armen Ghevondyan met with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
According to the source, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Belarus, co-chairman of the Armenian-Belarusian inter-parliamentary commission Boleslav Pirshtuk also took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, Andreichenko confirmed his country's interest in strengthening and developing cooperation with Armenia. He noted that parliamentary diplomacy also contributed to the promotion of the bilateral agenda, which is mainly reflected in the activities of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the National Assembly of Armenia and Belarus.
In turn, the co-chairman of the commission, Boleslav Pirshtuk, stressed the nature of the systematic and uninterrupted work of the commission, as well as the cooperation of parliamentarians of the two countries at international platforms. During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the agenda of the Armenian-Belarusian relations, paying particular attention to bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation.
