ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not think that in the days of the velvet revolution in Armenia there were attempts of interference from Russia.
He stated this in an interview with RBC television channel, responding to a question that "The Economist" magazine called Armenia the country of 2018, and the article noted that "Putin's protege was expelled, no one was killed, Russia did not give a reason for intervention. It turns out that in order to become the country of the year, it is necessary to meet these two conditions."
"This is a question for "The Economist", not for me. But I am pleased that Armenia is the country of the year, and I do not think that any country has refused this status. This is of course nice. During our first conversations with Vladimir Putin, I thanked Russia for the balanced position during our internal political processes. I think that this is a fact that the position of the Russian Federation was balanced," Pashinyan summarized.
