ArmInfo. In Armenia, there has been a trend towards an increase in the number of acute respiratory diseases.
According to the Ministry of Healthcare, according to January 14, 1080 patients contacted polyclinics with signs of acute respiratory infections. Currently 837 patients are in hospitals, of which 95% are children. In addition, only on January 14, 499 pupils of Armenian schools showed signs of acute respiratory infections, and they were sent home.
In one of the Yerevan hospitals, a 62-year-old patient died who was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. This is the second death from this virus in Armenia. Earlier, a 57-year-old woman died.
