As ArmInfo learned from sources close to the government circles, Defense Minister David Tonoyan, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, as well as the head of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan will definitely keep their posts in the new government.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan will also work in the government, who has already announced his unwillingness to engage in lawmaking. However, it is not yet clear whether he will retain his former post, or whether he will be appointed to a new position. Sources do not exclude that Second Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan will keep his portfolio. As for the ministers, Minister of Territorial Administration Suren Papikyan, Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan, Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan expressed a desire to work in the government, although Acting First Vice Premier Ararat Mirzoyan, according to information spread in the media, promotes to this position acting head of "Nork- Marash" medical center Mikayel Adamyan. Acting Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan could not decide on his plans, initially he wanted to work in parliament, it was even forecasted that he will be appointed as head of the My Step faction, however he later changed his mind and said he wanted to work in the Cabinet.
As for the head of the "My Step" faction this post will be taken by the former Minister of Culture Lilit Makunts, whose ministerial work dissatisfied cultural figures. Acting Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies Hakob Simindryan will be appointed Secretary of the faction.
Earlier, ArmInfo has already reported that Ararat Mirzoyan will become the speaker of the parliament, Alen Simonyan and Lena Nazaryan will become his deputies.
According to ArmInfo, recently head of the staff of the National Assembly Ara Saghatelyan resigned and consequently, the resignation of a number of high-ranking officials of the NA staff is expected. It is not known yet who will take his position.
