ArmInfo.Detained former deputy head of the Committee of State Property Management under the Government of the Republic of Armenia A.M.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, on October 2, a notification was received about the results of the audit in the State Property Management Committee. In particular, it was revealed that officials in the administration carried out forgery. In particular, as a result of forgery of documents and non-fulfillment of their duties, the ''ANI'' company for 22,695,306 drams was alienated from the State Committee of Water Management of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructures of Armenia and transferred to the ''Shirak ''Water Users Association. In particular, the ''Shirak'' Association was transferred to a water canal in Jradzor in the amount of 1,882 square meters for servicing a land plot of 0.1968 hectares, a water canal in Amasia for servicing a land plot of 1.38 hectares, as well as a tunnel of 7060 square meters and infrastructure serving water utilities that generally it was impossible to alienate. Meanwhile, the market price of the alienated property is 244,600.000 drams. A criminal case was initiated on 314 and 308 articlesfull of the RA Criminal Code.
On the basis of the facts revealed by the Investigative Committee, on December 3, a former deputy head of the State Property Management Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia A.M., was detained on suspicion of abuse of office and forgery. The preliminary investigation continues.
