ArmInfo. The Deputy President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov, standing for the MP from the RPA, reacted to yesterday's statements by the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, head of the ''My Step'' bloc of Nikol Pashinyan that the issue of appointing the CSTO Secretary General is not important.
According to him, with a similar statement, Pashinyan simply tried to justify the possible loss of Armenia of the post of general secretary in the CSTO. The deputy President of NA also noted that Pashinyan's criticism of the Karabakh authorities is inadmissible, especially in the conditions of close cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. He noted that a person who did not strike a finger for the benefit of Artsakh has no right to "touch his finger" on his authorities, many of whom participated in the war of liberation.
To note, yesterday Armenian Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the issue of the CSTO Secretary General is not important. Pashinyan also stated that the leadership of Artsakh comments on his statements, and urged them to stop this practice. He called on the NKR President Bako Sahakyan to calm his subordinates.
