ArmInfo. I am sure that for the first time in Armenia it will be possible to hold free and objective elections. This was stated on November 26 during a meeting with journalists by the leader of the Christian-People's Revival Party, Levon Shirinyan.
He noted that during the election campaign the main focus will be put on communication with the press. Shirinyan stressed that their goal is to make the election campaign an ideological one. "If we again go to vote on the rating system with the whole nation, then do not doubt that the regime of Serzh Sargsyan will return. However, nothing will come of it, since representatives of the former regime are hoping for that. very vigilant and organized, "- said the head of the party" Christian-national revival. " He also noted that it is necessary to create 4 republics of Armenia, in which they will honor the Armenian faith. "After the revolution, we initiated the movement to restore Christianity, based on the philosophy of our church. Believe us, and you will have a future. We will restore Armenia together," he stressed.
The party began its election campaign with Echmiadzin, having received the blessing in the church of St. Hripsime, and then continued campaigning for Armavir region.
We note that today representatives of the "We" bloc also met with voters. One of the leaders of the bloc, the head of the Republic Party, Aram Sargsyan, noted that it is very important for the National Assembly to have a political force that will be able to indicate to the authorities their shortcomings. He also stated that the question of who would be the prime minister was decided, however, there should be an alternative political force in parliament. As for the bloc's election program, the main points of the Sargsyan points were the need for compulsory medical insurance, job creation, as well as increasing the level of cooperation with NATO.
It should be noted that on November 26 the election campaign for the parliamentary elections of December 9, 2018 started.
