ArmInfo.A number of servicemen were exempted from military service or were reprimanded in connection with a traffic accident on the Vorotan-Khndzoretsk  highway, which claimed the lives of 4 servicemen.

As the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported  on his Facebook page, the corresponding order was signed by the  acting president. Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan.

Thus, according to the order of Tonoyan, the following were exempted  from military service: the commander of a tank platoon of the first  tank battalion, senior lieutenant G.M .; Chief of the Automobile  Service of the Nth Military Unit of the Ministry of Defense of the  Republic of Armenia, Major MA; deputy commander for weapons of the  4th armored battery of the Nth military unit of the Ministry of  Defense of the Republic of Armenia, captain Sh.A .; former commander  of the 4th armored battery of the Nth military unit of the Ministry  of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Major S.B.

In addition, warnings about the incompatibility of the position were  received: Commander of a tank platoon of a tank battalion of the Nth  military unit of the RA Defense Ministry, senior lieutenant S.’ .;  Chief of Automotive Equipment and Armored Service, Major G.Sh.

Received a severe reprimand: ex-chief of the technical department -  deputy in the line of armament of the Nth military unit of the RA  Ministry of Defense, lieutenant colonel A.Sh .; the head of the  technical unit - deputy in the line of armament of the Nth military  unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia,  lieutenant colonel P.A.

Received reprimands: former head of the Nth military unit of the  Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, colonel E.G.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense stressed that these  punishments do not exempt anyone from criminal liability.

Earlier,. Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan promised to bring  to justice all the perpetrators of the road accident on the  Vorotan-Khndzoretsk highway, which killed 4 servicemen.

It should be noted that the MD  RA truck got into an accident on 39  km of the Goris-Kubatly highway around 12 noon on November 7.
