ArmInfo.The Chief of the Defence of Bulgaria Andrei Botsev, met with the Chief of the Armenian General Staff Artak Davtyan, who is on an official visit to Bulgaria.
As the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria, Botsev told ArmInfo stated that this meeting is a good opportunity for a detailed discuss areas for further interaction, as well as exchange views on the state and development of the armed forces of the two countries, participation in international operations and missions, joint exercises.
The Chief of the Defence of Bulgaria pointed to the serious potential for cooperation between military schools, expressing his conviction that joint training is a good opportunity for cooperation and exchange of experience.
The parties expressed their conviction that the visit contributes to the development of dialogue and the deepening of relations between the defense ministries of the two countries.
The interlocutors discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral military cooperation, common areas of interest and the possibilities of cooperation through the partnership of Armenia with NATO and the European Union.
The Bulgarian Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov also received the Bulgarian delegation led by Davtyan. During the meeting, the parties focused on the development of defense cooperation between the two countries.
