ArmInfo. The Democratic-Liberal Union of Armenia will not participate in the early elections to the National Assembly of Armenia. This was reported in the statement of the party, received by ArmInfo.
The statement, in particular, states that the term for early elections was moved from May to December due to the wrong policies of the former government. "Hasty elections can only be in the hands of the former and current authorities, and the extra-parliamentary forces found themselves in a difficult situation, since the new Electoral Code was not adopted, and they did not have time to prepare for the elections," the statement reads.
To note, the Communist Party of Armenia also stated that it is boycotting the early parliamentary elections.
To recall, the majority of non-parliamentary political forces made a statement that they would not participate in early elections.
