ArmInfo. Armenian Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will be very actively involved in the upcoming campaign of the "My Step" bloc and will have the most active role in it. Acting First Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, stated this on November 14 at a meeting with journalists.
According to Mirzoyan, all those who are included in the electoral list of the "My step" bloc and occupy this or that position, can engage in election campaigning only in the framework and procedure established by law. If the law requires a person to take a vacation during the campaign, this official will necessarily act within the framework of the requirements of the law. Ararat Mirzoyan himself, who will run on the rating list in the Shengavit and Malatsia-Sebastia electoral districts, is not going to take a vacation, since "he does not intend to get involved too intensively in the process."
When asked whether the role of Nikol Pashinyan was too much "exploited" in the campaign of the ''Civil Contract'' party, given his participation in the elections of the Yerevan Council of Elders, Mirzoyan said: "It's no secret that Nikol Pashinyan is very loved by the people. And not a single political force can afford such an unaffordable luxury - to abandon the strategic opportunity that promises it the maximum benefit.
To note a member of the ''Civil Contract'' party Acting Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan, , will also be nominated from the Shengavit and Malatsia-Sebastia constituencies.
