ArmInfo. The situation on the line of contact of troops in Karabakh, as well as on the border of Azerbaijan and Armenia, has more or less stabilized. The Russian co- chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov stated this to journalists in Baku.
"Today our visit comes to an end, we were in Yerevan, in Nagorno-Karabakh, now we are in Baku. We met with the acting Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of Azerbaijan, the defense ministers of the two countries. We will soon meet with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan. The focus issues are related to the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh process. In particular, we discussed the conversations that took place among the leaders of the two countries in Dushanbe, the agreements that were reached and that are being implemented now. I mean the situation on the Line of Contact, on the border, which is more or less stabilized, we spoke of the link, which is established between Armenia and Azerbaijan "- Popov said, RIA Novosti reported.
He also informed that a meeting of foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan could take place in Milan in December.
To note, a meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council is scheduled for December in Milan. Earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported that by the end of the year one more meeting of Mnatsakanyan-Mamedyarov is not ruled out.
