Speaking about the investment attractiveness of Armenia - a country with 3.5 million population, the president of the republic said: "We are a small country, but we are a world nation," he said, stressing that there are far more Armenians living outside Armenia than in Armenia itself which is an advantage in the 21st century. In addition, as the President pointed out, Armenia can also boast cultural, economic and political ties with many countries. "In November 2017, Armenia signed the Agreement with the EU. At the same time, Armenia is part of the EAEU. In fact, Armenia is the only state that economically connects Europe and Eurasia," he said. The third factor, as Sargsyan pointed out, is connected with the fact that the Armenians are a world nation. "In the 21st century, this world nation is fully involved in events that take place within the country," the president said. Even in the period of the revolution, which was not such in the classical sense, not only the citizens of Armenia participated in it, but also those Armenians who live in France, Argentina, Great Britain, and Beirut. "12-15 million Armenian people were fully involved in the process of political changes. They will take part in the industrial revolution and economic development," he stressed. The next important factor for the development of the country, according to Sargsyan, is a high educational level in Armenia. An important aspect is also the stability of the economy. "Last year, Armenia recorded a 7.5% growth in GDP. After the revolution, the growth trend continues. That is, nothing has changed. After major political changes, our economy maintains its stability," said Armen Sargsyan. He noted that in Armenia the best financial and banking sector in the post-Soviet space. European, Lebanese, Cypriot, Greek, Iranian banks function in the republic. "Armenia is a financially stable country," he stressed.
