ArmInfo. Deputy Felix Tsolakyan, who left the former ruling Republican Party after the revolution, will head the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia. Tsolakian confirmed this in an interview with ArmInfo correspondent. Tsolakyan admitted that he really received such an offer, and he accepted it. The proposal came today from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
After the RPA faction, the Tsarukyan bloc and the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party voted in favor of a bill amending the law on the regulation of the National Assembly, which Pashinyan spoke against, the prime minister decided to dismiss all officials from the Tsarukyan bloc and ARFD . Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations was headed by the candidate from the Tsarukyan bloc Hrachya Rostomyan.
It should be noted that Tsolakian previously held high positions of governor Shirak, head of the Presidential Control Service, and also headed the National Security Service.
