ArmInfo.David Ananyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, as an economist, is in favor of holding fast extraordinary parliamentary elections. "The business environment always takes a wait-and-see position where there is no political stability," he said on October 4 in an interview with journalists.
According to the head of the tax and customs department, in this matter he fully agrees with the prime minister, who believes that in order to attract investment and revitalize the business environment, early parliamentary elections should be held whenever possible in a short time. "Politically, I won't be able to answer the question of how long it will take to carry out certain political procedures. This is a matter for politicians. But as an economist, I think that elections should be held as soon as possible," he said.
According to the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, one of the most important arguments in favor of holding early parliamentary elections in December of this year, and not in the spring, as suggested by the RPA, ARFD and PAP, is the factor of attracting investments, namely the requirement of potential investors to stabilize the political field of the country.
