ArmInfo. The diplomatic missions of France are closely monitoring developments in the host countries, and, naturally, do not interfere. On this October 3 in Yerevan, at the presentation of the Armenian translation of the book of the President of France Emmanuel Macron "Revolution", French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacote told reporters, referring to the latest events in the republic.
"We hope that Armenia will host the Francophonie summit. For Armenia this is a historic event and a unique opportunity," the ambassador said.
It should be noted that the presentation of the Armenian translation of the book of the President of France Emmanuel Macron "Revolution" took place today at the French Embassy in Armenia. Lacote on the presentation of the book stated that the translation of the book of a politician is quite a rare phenomenon, since, as a rule, such works are for internal use. According to him, the publication of the book in the Armenian language says a lot about the relations between the two countries.
The ambassador also noted that the presentation of the book written by Macron in 2016 is taking place on the eve of the Francophone summit, within which the author's visit to Armenia is also planned.
Note that the book was published by Newmag and is already available in bookstores in Yerevan. In France, the "Revolution" has become a bestseller and has published more than 2 million copies. The publication of the Armenian translation of the book was carried out with the financing of the Ministry of Culture and ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank.
