ArmInfo. The government of Armenia is taking another step towards improving the business environment. Amendments to the Law on Licensing were adopted at the sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on October 3 in the first reading.
Presenting the draft Artsvik Minasyan, who yesterday was dismissed from the post of the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia, informed that the amendments envisage extending the terms of payments for licenses for business entities. The former minister continued that at present after a positive decision of the plenipotentiary commission, the entities are given only one working day to make payments for licensing activities. Now this period is extended by 5 working days. Thus, Artsvik Minasyan continued, the economic entities will have time to accomplish the task.
