According to the statement of the party, received by ArmInfo, the internal and external challenges facing the country can only be overcome by nationwide mobilization and the full and effective use of the national resource. Acting within the framework of the so-called constitution and the so-called laws, as the'' Sasna Tsrer'' believes, the national victory was threatened.
"The will of a united and sovereign people consists in living constitution and laws, and one should be guided only by this - to define a transitional period, to govern the state through the norms of transitional democracy and transitional justice, thanks to which not only political upheavals can be excluded, but also to quickly overcome political crisis, embarking on the path of development, "- said in a statement the party. Members of the ''Sasna Tsrer ''party urge to listen to the will of the people and the logic of the revolution and to take adequate steps to overcome the dangerous situation as soon as possible. To recall late last night, at a special meeting, the RA Parliament adopted amendments to the law "On the National Assembly Rules of Procedure" by 67 votes, which would allow deputies to insure themselves against a possible dissolution of the parliament. the bill was voted for by the faction of the Republican Party of Armenia, the Tsarukyan bloc and the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Yelk faction was against. Then, at the call of Pashinyan, the citizens gathered at the National Assembly building to oppose the adoption of the controversial amendments to the law on the NA Rules of Procedure by the Parliament. According to the document, in case of obstruction of the work of the NA sitting, for any reason, it can be considered not to be failed, but to be interrupted and can be continued later. During an emergency rally on Baghramyan Avenue, the representatives of the Prosperous Armenia (PAP) and ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARF) parties in the government, including the governors, were dismissed. The Prime Minister also called on President Armen Sarkissian not to sign the bill.
