ArmInfo. The National Assembly of Armenia at the October 3 meeting failed to provide the necessary quorum for continuing the work.
At the suggestion of Parliament Speaker Ara Babloyan, a break was announced in the session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia before securing the required number of votes. Ara Babloyan stressed that 53 votes are needed for making decisions on the issues discussed the day before, but taking into account the absence of MPs, a break was announced.
To note, the MPs were supposed to vote on the bills discussed the day before, but after a rally of thousands of people organized by the call of the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the deputies, apparently, decided to refrain from participating in the plenary session.
