ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan dismissed from the posts of ministers - representatives of the ARF and Prosperous Armenia parties. Nikol Pashinyan himself announced this at the October 2 rally.
According to him, the same fate will be awarded to the regional governors from these political forces. This decision was dictated by the unified position of the Republican Party, ARFD and Prosperous Armenia factions on the draft law "NA Rules of Procedure", which significantly limits the possibility of holding early elections. The position of these forces, the Prime Minister continued, sets a goal to implement counter-revolutionary actions and close the possibilities for holding early elections. "These actions are a betrayal of the highest authority in Armenia - towards the Armenian people," said Pashinyan, adding that all these ministers and governors are relieved of their posts. Only former Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan will remain of the former composition. This issue is included in the agenda of the government meeting, which will be held next Thursday.
The RA Prime Minister noted that the President of the Republic of Armenia must either sign the shameful law passed by the Parliament or send it to the Constitutional Court within 21 days. "I will myself petition that this document will not be signed," the head of government stressed. He added that after the resignation of the governors he will resign. After this, the parliament will have to elect a new prime minister within 7 days, if this does not happen, the National Assembly of Armenia will again have to elect the head of government within 7 days, but in this case, if the prime minister is not elected, the parliament will automatically be dissolved and new parliamentary elections are scheduled.
Extraordinary parliamentary elections, according to the Prime Minister, are necessary in order to return power to the people. The National Assembly of Armenia, formed on bribes and bribery, does not respond to the will of the people. "In Armenia, we are dealing with a free and proud citizen," said Pashinyan, adding that early parliamentary elections are necessary, first of all, for the people themselves, who should elect a truly people's parliament. According to him, immediately after the velvet revolution in May of this year, it was announced about the possibility of holding early parliamentary elections during the year. However, the development of events showed that the elections will be held in late November - early December this year. "The holding of early elections has become an urgent matter," the head of the Armenian government said. He added that he was going to the National Assembly to negotiate with political forces to discuss ways out of this situation. And will negotiate under banner of love and solidarity.
