ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed Executive Director of the All-Armenian Hayastan Fund Hayk Arshamian and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Petros Terzyan Foundation.
The government's press service told ArmInfo that the prime minister hoped that with his appointment the foundation would receive a new life and a new impulse. He also added that he was informed about the numerous problems that had arisen before the foundation during this period and about the need to solve them as soon as possible. "It is necessary to have a clear idea of how they need to be solved," the prime minister said.
Pashinyan also expressed gratitude to Terzian for the assistance provided to the fund at a difficult time, thanks to which he was able to find a constructive way out of the situation.
In turn, Terzyan expressed confidence that Arshamyan was the right person, the right place and position. "I am confident that this wonderful structure, which made a huge contribution to the development of the economies of Armenia and Artsakh, has a great future. I believe that in the conditions of the new Armenia we must overcome difficulties and proceed to the implementation of new projects in Armenia and Artsakh," added Terzyan.
In turn, Arshamyan noted the importance of involving all Armenians in the development of the homeland, and raising funds not only through telethon, but also through online platforms. According to him, one of the goals of the fund should be to involve the Armenians of the world in the processes in Armenia. "I set a goal to increase trust in the fund. In the new Armenia we must have a new and really Pan-Armenian fund," Arshamyan said.
In conclusion, Pashinyan noted the importance of the teamwork that was carried out with the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and its head, the President of the Republic of Armenia, expressing the hope that this new page is in the history of the Foundation.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the future activities of the fund.
