ArmInfo.Issues of Armenian-Estonian cooperation were discussed in New York by Armenian and Estonian foreign ministers Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Sven Mikser.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic told ArmInfo that during the meeting Mnatsakanyan stressed that Armenia attaches great importance to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Estonia in all areas of bilateral interest.
The sides touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership issues, stressing in this context the importance of the Agreement on a comprehensive and expanded partnership opening the prospects for cooperation both in the relations between the EU and Armenia, and in a bilateral format with the EU member states. Mnatsakanyan and Mixer also talked about the preparatory work for the OIF summit, discussed the agenda, the planned related events. The Armenian Foreign Minister presented the priorities of Armenia's chairmanship in the organization, singling out the scope of innovation and the digital agenda as the main direction. In this regard, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the fruitful bilateral cooperation established in the field of information technology. They also noted with satisfaction the process of intensification of bilateral cultural ties and the importance of periodically organized cultural events.
