ArmInfo. On the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with the Chairperson of the African
Union Commission Moussa Faki. As the press service of the Armenian government reports, during the meeting the interlocutors discussed the process of implementation of the preparations for the summit of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), which will be held in Yerevan in October this year. Nikol Pashinyan noted that Armenia takes a responsible approach to the preparation of this event, is ready to hold it at the highest level and warmly receive the African delegations at a high level. Moussa Faki expressed his belief that the summit will assist Armenia in developing and deepening ties with African countries.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of the forthcoming business forum, which will be held within the framework of the summit. The business forum, according to the interlocutors, will be a new impetus for expanding business ties.
